Index Ventures Leads SeedLegals $4M Fundraising Round to Help Startups Score Funding

Handling the legal documents for creating funding for your startup rounds can be a painstakingly, tedious job. Not to mention, the fees associated with producing and filing legal documents can be quite expensive.  That’s why SeedLegals created a digital platform solution to automate the funding rounds for startups. This helps to make the process more seamless and streamline. SeedLegals is a UK-based startup that was founded in September, 2016 by Anthony Drogon, Anthony Rose, and Laurent Laffy. The company was later launched in 2017. In a recent announcement, SeedLegals stated that  it has landed $4M in its latest round of investments. This funding round was lead by international venture capital firm, Index Ventures.

Index Ventures is no stranger to the vc world, as it was started in 1996. Founders David Rimer,  Neil Rimer, and Giuseppe Zoccoand have grown the brand immensely since its inception. It now has two headquarters- one in San Francisco, the other one in London and has helped raise approximately $5.6 billion in investment funds. Key areas of focus for Index Ventures include:  e-commerce, gaming, fintech, mobility, AI and others. Over the past 23 years, it has helped technology entrepreneurs in over 39 cities around the globe gain access to valuable funding solutions. Some of the companies Index Ventures has invested in are: Bird, Datadog, Dropbox, Farfetch, Funding Circle,  Sonos, Squarespace, as well as many others.
