Jonathan Melgoza, Co-Founder of EasyCodigo, Shares Engineering and Computer Systems Success

I recently had the chance to talk with Jonathan Melgoza. He is an innovative, computer systems engineer and the co-founder of EasyCodigo. Check out our interview to learn more about his journey to success in the technology and development industry.

  1. Hi! Please tell us more about yourself and your company?

Hi! My name is Jonathan and I am an engineer in computer systems. I was born in the state of Michoacan, Mexico but currently I live in the state of Querétaro. I am passionate about everything related to my profession. I love my website, forum and blog. My hobbies are video games and sports. Two years ago, my girlfriend and I created a small company called EasyCodigo where we are now dedicated to creating websites and developing software tailored to the needs of companies. We also create mobile applications and offer SEO, Marketing and other services.

  1. What inspired you to want to become a computer systems engineer?

At first, I was really inspired by movies about hackers and experts in computer networks. I think that’s what inspired me to look at this profession. Then, I found a lot of love for computer programming and that’s why I decided to become an engineer in computer systems.

At that stage, I started with my website at which helped me a lot because everything I was learning I wrote in the articles, so I grew my personal brand while learning more and more about my profession.

  1. What is the current tech scene like in Mexico?

Currently, Mexico is experiencing a stage in which businesses are looking more at the technology and the solutions it offers to improve business. Before, many companies refused to enter the era of technology, but more and more companies are now investing in technology and development.

  1. Biggest challenges you’ve faced as an entrepreneur?

One of the biggest obstacles for the new business in Mexico is the distrust of the clients. Sometimes it is difficult to reach a client and to compete with bigger companies, even though we offer higher quality and lower costs. Some businesses give less opportunities to new companies, especially if they are Mexican. It is sad, but in Mexico some businesses place more value on foreign companies and less to the national ones.

  1. How did you rise to overcome those challenges?

We have managed to get ahead in EasyCodigo because we have done a good job of marketing to reach as many customers as possible. Another factor that has helped EasyCodigo is that it is a company that does things well. We offer quality results and great treatment to our clients.

  1. If you had to give one expert tip to entrepreneurs, what would it be and why?

The biggest advice I can give to people who are about to start a business is persistence. Persistence is everything in the enterprise, if you fall, get up fast and move on.

  1. Future goals?

I have many goals, both personal and professional. I would like to grow my personal brand, consolidate my website and of course, I also want EasyCodigo to be a top development agency for many years to come.
