
Bitrefill, a startup that offers cryptocurrency gift cards, has announced that is has raised $2 million in investments for its seed funding round. The company has raised a grand total of $2.4 million since it’s inception. According to CoinDesk, the round was exclusively led by Coin Ninja, and also included notable supporters like, Fulgur Ventures, BnkToTheFuture, as well as litecoin’s founder, Charlie Lee.
Bitrefill is a Stockholm-based startup company that was founded in 2014. Since then, it has serviced over 130,000 world-wide customers and growing, according to its website. It currently offers a wide variety of gift card options for over 170 countries. In addition to that, Bitrefill provides 750 plus different gift cards from major names like: Uber, Hotels.com, Amazon, Best Buy, eBay, Google Play, Xbox, PlayStation, along with many others. With this successful seed funding round, Bitrefill plans to further expand its offerings to reach an even more global market place.
