Tesla Delivers First Chinese Made Model 3 Electric Cars

On Monday, the Tesla had announced that they have delivered their first electric vehicle in China and made the first delivery outside the United States. Moreover, Tesla had also delivered the 1st Model 3 electric cars which was built in their newer Shanghai Gigafactory 3 plant, within a year from the period it started work on $2 billion plant which is a record for the global automakers across the China. The company had delivered that car to 15 employees of Tesla who had bought it. Tesla was looking to ramp up the production as well as the deliveries from the following month with the plant to generate around 3,000 vehicles in each week. This China made model 3 sedans has the price of around $50,000 before the subsidies.

The Vice President of the Tesla named Tao Lin, at the delivery ceremony said that from then, the China made 3 vehicles would begin running on large streets as well as smaller lanes in China. The decision to open the Shanghai Gigafactory 3 is like a part of the plants of Tesla to aid the presence in the biggest car market of the world as well as to minimize the impact of the United States-China trade war. The plant was up and was running within only 357 days. Previously, Tesla imported all the cars that they sold across the entire China. This electric car giant said that they had wanted to begin the deliveries from the Shanghai plant before the beginning of the new year 2020.
