Facebook Co-founder Named Eduardo Saverin Backs the “Startup Generator” Antler

Antler is a self-described global startup generator and an early stage venture capital company. They have raised a fund of $50 million for their funds in London, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Sydney, New York, Nairobi and in Singapore. Significantly newer investors include the co-founder of Facebook named Eduardo Saverin as well as Elaine Saverin, the philanthropist and investor named Christen Sveeas, the Japanese financial services company – Credit Saison and Canica International.

Antler was founded by Magnus Grimeland and was first founded in the year 2018 and was launched in Singapore. Magnus was the former chief executive officer of Zalora. Antler now runs a company builder program in several locations. Like the EF, they also invite the applicants to apply to different programs with the goal of aiding them to find a co-founder and to settle an idea of newer startup. They also provide a stipend for the initial 2 months to protect the basic living costs of the participants as well as the pre-seed funding. At the later stage, the capital is too available for the successful firms. To provide the funding, the Antler has several local funds in every geography.

The CEO, Magnus Grimeland told to TechCrunch that at Antler, they aimed to work with an exceptional people despite of their specialization as long as they have clear drive, grit and spike. Specifically, they also aimed at several companions to mix some great technologists, to product the operators as well as builders. That included stronger people such as iZettle, Spotify, Lazada or Grab or sold their past startups.
