The social intranet for the enterprises, LumApps has raised almost $24 million in its Series B funding event. The previous backer Idinvest primarily led the series B funding event of LumsApps. The amount of $24 million raised by LumApps in its series B fundraising event will mainly be used for global sales and marketing of LumApps. The fund shall also be used to accelerate the product development of LumApps as well.
LumApps was founded in the year 2012 in Paris. After its establishment, it never looked back and added a continuous series of growth to its story. It now has offices in Tokyo, San Francisco, London, and New York. LumApps is credited to have developed a social web-styled intranet that allows the company employees to collaborate with each other and connect in a better way.
In order to make its aim more achievable LumApps has integrated its solution with G suite, Microsoft Sharepoint and Microsoft Office 365. The social web-styled intranet of LumApps is accessible via mobiles as well. In other words, this intranet platform of LumApps is designed so as to act as a centralized hub for social communications, work tool, enterprise applications and for personalized content as well.
Sebastian Richard, the founder, and CEO of LumApps has stated that their main aim was to enable access to user information to every individual from just one place with only one click. Their objective was to come up with a solution that bridges the gap between social network and intranet with the use of latest technologies.
