  1. Many people struggle with illness and health complications. In your opinion, what’s the most common misconception that people have about becoming healthy?

A common misconception that people have about becoming healthy is centered around how to boost the metabolism. Many people believe eating one or two times a day will help them lose weight. In reality, persons must eat every 3-4 hours, drink lots of water, and exercise to boost the metabolism thus having the ability to lose weight. The more you eat, the faster the metabolism will be and the more you will burn fat; of course healthier types of foods. I preach this to my patients daily. Most of my obese patients only eat one or two times a day, yet unhealthy. I always tell them “Eat to Refuel not to Get Full”–Katina
