Financial expert Frank Grimes has led the Associates Home Loan of Florida company since the mid-1990s. Grimes began working with the company at a time when he felt it was not operating to its maximum potential and made the decision to change the overall direction of the company to allow bad credit loans to take place and assist members of the community during difficult financial times.

A graduate of Florida Metropolitan University, Frank Grimes studied economics and has made a success of his role at Associates Home Loan of Florida by making sure his office offers the best financing available. Under Frank Grimes leadership, the company has streamlined its loan financing options to create a system allowing a loan to be approved and paid within a single week. Using his skills for the good of the people of Tampa, Florida has become the major interest of Frank Grimes in recent years with a growing interest in offering free financial advisory sessions for members of the local community.

How did you get started in the financial industry?

I finished college in Florida and had already decided to enter the financial industry when I made my way to my first role at a local bank. Eventually, I found myself working at Associates Home Loan and stepped up to a leadership role in 1996 which I have occupied ever since. As the President of the company, I have worked hard to make sure the local community learns about different forms of financial options including hard money loan.

How do you stay motivated?

I know the people of Florida are in need of different financial options and I do like to make sure every person in need understands how best to meet their financial obligations. Motivation is not a difficult thing when you are hoping to meet the financial needs of the people of the state efficiently. I have recently been staging free financial consultations clinics which have made it easier than ever to stay motivated and make sure I am working for the good of my neighbors in Tampa.

How does your company make a profit?

We are a traditional financial company, so we make our money by working with individuals within the community looking for loans and other financial products. Our services are impressive when compared to those of other comparative lenders in Florida who are charging far higher interest rates. Our interest rates compare more than favorably with those of our competitors who are taking a less proactive role in assisting customers than we are.

What is one trend which excites you?

In business, I like the idea of using artificial intelligence to push forward the speed with which loans and financial products can be processed. However, I am a big believer in keeping the human touch in every product we sell which means I always want the final decision to be based on gut instinct and a thorough understanding of the facts.

What does an average day look like for you?

I wish I had an average day but as the President of a financial company my days vary but are always busy. Let’s look at a day I spend in the office which will begin very early in the morning with a jog through my neighborhood to clear the cobwebs from my head and allows me to burn off some stress. I check my phone over breakfast to get the most important messages and check the news to see if anything is affecting our business or we can use for our good.

After arriving at the office, I check my schedule and work through phone messages and emails to make sure I have responded to everything I need to take note of. The day goes on discussing the future of the company with my executives and making sure we are moving forward in the future. My day goes on until after six o clock most days when I head home and enjoy dinner with my family and try to get some rest.

 

 

Which accomplishments are you most proud of?

One of the best days of my life was seeing our rating jump to five stars with the Better Business Bureau.

Do you have any advice for our readers?

The best advice I can give is to keep the chip on your shoulder and make sure you are always working to improve yourself. Even though I am often classed as having achieved most of my goals in life I still feel I am working on a regular basis to prove to myself I am as good at my job as I think I am.
